Graduate Student Organization
AEGIS
Aegis is the association of graduate students at the Allen R Hite Institute for Fine Arts at the University of Louisville.
Our goal is to foster professional growth in academic excellence within a community of artists, curators and art historians. We adopt Aegis as our name for its connotations of support, endorsement and guidance. It is our hope that through our activities, including a biennial symposium and journal publication, we might encourage the exchange of new ideas and cultivate academic freedom.
